Aryna Sabalenka
The place where Sabalenka was born is Minsk in Belarus. The father of her Sergey (d. in 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk on 5 May 1998. Her twelve WTA singles wins include one Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles player, she's an excellent player. She's won two Majors in the past with Elise Mertens: her US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. With the Belgian tennis star, she won an award called the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in 2019 thus making the Sunshine Double. This feat was only achieved by four couples competing in the women's doubles. It was only four couples that achieved this feat in women's doubles. She rose into the top spot of the doubles ranking the year following, having winning the doubles title in Melbourne. It made her the only Belarusian tennis player to succeed in her field. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the season ended in 2019. She also worked with him briefly at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann and her were in a brief relationship in August through September 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach from 2020. Her top idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
